The Discovery Center Museum features over 250 interactive exhibits for children, including a planetarium, Wild Weather exhibit about Earth’s atmosphere, and the outdoor Rock River Discovery Park, with a Dino Dig. The museum has several award winning exhibits available for rent, with pdf information available for download from their website. Visitors can experience the night sky in Discovery Center's planetarium with multimedia astronomy presentations which cover planets, stars, space exploration, and constellations. The Museum offers programs for various groups, including families, Scouts, home schoolers, and toddlers, as well as summer classes and camps. The website gives information on teacher workshops offered, as well as off site education, and field trip options. The Discovery Center Museum is associated with the Burpee Museum of Natural History.
