Exploration Place explores different aspects, perspectives, and facts about the people, places, and designed things of our ever-changing world. Exploration Place produces the Stars over Kansas website, which covers current news in space science as well as blogs, articles, and links to other astronomy sites and information on various US space missions. At the Center one can uncover fossils from a Paleontological dig and take them home, interact with real meteorologists as they forecast the weather, and walk through a cave to explore the prehistoric past. There are in house and outreach educational programs, and a downloadable educator’s guide.
