The Science Station is a science and technology museum with an IMAX theater, over 100 interactive exhibits, and educational programs covering over 45 topics. The museum covers earth science topics including the solar system and dinosaurs, with exhibits designed for any age and meant to be challenging for people with a wide range of science background. The Early Scientist Exploration Zone focuses of pre-K children. Other features include the Genencor Gallery where visitors experience the museums International Space Sciences Station, and the Rockwell Gallery where visitors can learn what it takes to be a meteorologist. Visitors can also dig for dinosaurs at the new Virtual Reality Theater. The Science Station offers a number of in house museum and outreach educational programs, including Scouts, groups, camps and other summer activities.
