The SETI Institute is dedicated to scientific research, education and public outreach and seeks to explore, understand and explain the origin, nature and prevalence of life in the universe. SETI offers a number of professional development opportunities, curriculum guides, classes, research opportunities and travel excursions with SETI educators. Information on many SETI publications is available online, including sample lessons, teaching packages, and reviews of curriculum and publications. The online interactive game, Whos Out There, explores the issues facing the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, and the SETI Radio Network offers podcasts of various lectures and forums.
